Brexit Preparations
A hard Brexit would be catastrophic so Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell said this morning while adding that there were contingency plans in place.
He said that, even in the case of Britain leaving without a deal, bilateral agreements with Spain over Gibraltar would remain in place.
And The status of British citizens in Spain and Spanish citizens in Britain would not change substantially in the case of a hard Brexit, Borrell said.

Extremist Protest.
Antifa anti Facist protesters clashed with far-right activists during a protest in Barcelona yesterday.
Up to 150 Antifa activists took part in the protest against the far-right nationalist Vox party in front of a local football field on which Vox activists were holding an event.
One of the gates appeared to be open and some Antifa activists clashed with Vox members after entering the field. The riot police had to take action to prevent disorder and violence between the two groups.
The Vox party is against regional autonomy in Spain and sued both the Parliament of Catalonia and several individual pro-independence politicians following the Catalan independence declaration.

Government bailed out toll motorways will be free of charge to use from midnight tonight and every night until 06.00 in the morning.
And From 06.01 tomorrow morning toll prices on these motorways will be 30% lower.
Spain’s previous government began the process of ‘buying back’ motorways run by ailing toll companies, and the new socialist cabinet continued to see the plan through.
the new arrangements wll apply to the AP-7 Alicante ring-road and It’s section between Cartagena and Vera .. will be free of charge overnight and 30% cheaper by day.
Along with the AP-7 through Valencia and Alicante, the next motorway to be de-privatized will be the Madrid-Toledo AP-41, whose maintenance firm is currently in liquidation.

Gas Price
BOTTLED gas is set to go down in price tomorrow.
Currently orange-coloured butane bottles will cost €15.33 but will drop by nearly 5% to €14.57 – the first price reduction since May 2018.
The cut in price is largely due to a sharp plunge in the cost of raw materials and shipping together with the euro having fallen against the US dollar.

New Airport
Murcia Corvera International Airport is scheduled to be inaugurated tomorrow and is projected to handle six million passengers this year. The lo cost airline Norwegian just announced it will operate four routes from Norwegian cities this summer.
The airport’s operator AENA, has been working during the last six months to prepare it for opening, awarding contracts such as infrastructure enhancement, parking lot management, meteorological services, passenger area maintenance, and commercial operations.
While Alicante is a considerably busier airport, new services .. reduced fares and the potential for a road/rail connection via Murcia city to Alicante there is the prospect of Corvera becoming an alternative airport for the wider Costa Blanca, too.
